Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Interval Systems LLC ("Interval Systems", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and protects information through the intervalsystems.net website and our workforce software and services (the "Services").
1. Our role
Our customers are employers, staffing agencies and payroll providers. When we process information about their workers and applicants, we do so on the customer's behalf and under its instructions; the customer decides what information is collected and how it is used. If you are a worker with a question about your information, you can contact the employer that invited you, or contact us and we will help direct your request.
2. Information we collect
- Contact information you send us, such as your name, email address, phone number and message.
- Onboarding and employment information entered through the Services on behalf of an employer, which may include name, address, date of birth, contact details, Social Security number, work authorization and identity documents, tax withholding elections, direct deposit details, emergency contacts, signatures and signed forms.
- Work and pay information, such as work site, schedule, hours worked, pay rate, time off and leave requests, and pay records.
- Time clock information, where an employer uses our time clock: clock-in and clock-out times, a photo taken at a kiosk punch, and the device location at the moment of a phone punch (only at that moment, not continuously).
- Biometric information, where an employer uses fingerprint clock-in: a fingerprint template, collected only after the worker gives written consent, used only to confirm identity at the time clock, never sold or shared for any other purpose, and deleted after the work relationship ends as stated in the consent.
- Account information for authorized staff users, such as name, work email, role and activity in the Services.
- Technical information such as IP address, device and browser type, and timestamps, used to secure the Services and to keep audit records of signed documents.
3. How we use information
We use information to provide and operate the Services; complete, sign, store and deliver onboarding and employment documents; record time and support payroll and billing for the employer; send service messages by text or email; secure the Services and prevent fraud; provide support; comply with legal obligations; and improve the Services. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use workers' information for advertising.
4. Text messages
Workers may receive text messages with links and reminders related to their onboarding or employment. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages, or HELP for help. Mobile numbers and text messaging consent are not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
5. How we share information
We share information only as needed to provide the Services: with the customer (employer) the information was collected for; with service providers that host, store, transmit or process data for us, such as cloud hosting, document storage, messaging and payroll providers, under obligations to protect it; when required by law or to protect rights and safety; and in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
6. Data security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access limited by role to authorized users, masking of bank and tax identifiers, and audit records. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Services, as directed by our customers, and as required by law, including employment record-keeping requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Requests about information held for an employer will be handled with that employer. To make a request, email info@intervalsystems.net. We honor Global Privacy Control signals. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
9. Site statistics and your choices
When you first visit, we ask whether you allow our own site statistics. Nothing is measured, and nothing is stored in your browser, until you choose Accept. If you choose Decline, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, no statistics are collected.
If you accept, we record the pages you view, how you arrived (for example a link, flyer or QR code), which buttons or links you tap, when a form is started or sent (never what you type), your general location (country, region, city), device and browser type, screen size and language. We use this only to improve the site and see which outreach works. Your IP address is used to estimate location and is not stored; visits are counted with a daily anonymous code. We use no advertising trackers or advertising cookies, do not sell or share this information, and do not combine it with other data about you. We keep it for up to 24 months.
Your choice is saved in your browser so we do not ask again. You can change it anytime with the Privacy choices link at the bottom of every page.
If you scan one of our QR codes, we count the scan with only the code, time, country and device type.
10. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page.
